  • International applicants are admitted to the PhD program on a self-funded basis. The awarding of state-funded places for foreign citizens is regulated by international agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Admission of international applicants is conducted on a competitive basis following an interview with the UMC Admissions Committee, held throughout the academic year.
  • Enrollment of international applicants is carried out in accordance with the academic calendar, and must be completed no later than five (5) days before the start of the upcoming semester.
  • Educational documents issued by foreign institutions must undergo official recognition (nostrification) in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the first semester after enrollment.

Documents in foreign languages must be accompanied by a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian
