Information on UMC cooperation areas

UMC actively collaborates with international and domestic partners.

Partners include leading international universities, clinics, and medical equipment manufacturers, as well as domestic research institutes and centers, healthcare authorities, and regional clinics.

Cooperation covers the following areas:

• Education and professional training;

• Research and innovation;

• Implementation of modern medical technologies and equipment;

• Clinical trials and patient recruitment;

• Charity and social initiatives.

Under these partnership agreements, various initiatives have been implemented including clinical internship programs, internships, and experience exchange, and joint educational and research projects. New developments are also being implemented such as testing AI systems and innovative medical equipment. In addition, one-time events and initiatives focused on organizational and social support are regularly carried out.

As of October 1, 2025, UMC had 38 memorandums of cooperation in force, 13 of which were with foreign higher education institutions within the framework of international partnerships.
