Analysis results Yuriy Pya, Chairman of the Board of University Medical Center, was awarded the title of academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Academy of Sciences of the RK unites the country’s leading scientists to conduct research and find solutions to strategically significant issues of society, determine scientific directions and implement state policy based on scientifically proven data.
Yuriy Pya holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree, numerous state awards and achievements, has more than 60 scientific publications in international journals including Web of Science and Scopus, ORCID, and has the Hirsch index of 17. Yuriy Pya is also a member of international associations and healthcare organizations, a scientific consultant in the preparation of candidates and doctors of sciences.
The awarding of the title of academician reflects to the significant contribution of Yuriy Pya to the development of medical science, the training of local scientists, the conduct and popularization of research in the field of medicine and public health.
