Analysis results 
On May 17th – 19th the First International Forum “Days of Pediatric Surgery in Azerbaijan” was held in Baku city. Experts from several dozen countries took part in the event where more than 350 reports were presented.
Doctors of the Mother and Child Center UMC shared their experience at the international forum: Bolat Nagymanov presented the topic “Complex method of treatment of osteogenesis imperfecta in children in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, Dastan Rustemov shared the clinic’s experience on the topics “Treatment of newborns with complicated forms of gastroschisis” and “Results of kidney transplantation in children at UMC”. Also, residents of the Department of Pediatric Surgery Bauyrzhan Kulmurat and Nursultan Zhaksybayev performed with the topics “Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy in children and adolescents: our experience” and “Pediatric thyroid surgery. Our 4 year experience».
During the event almost three dozen parallel symposiums were held on the most relevant topics of pediatric surgery, anesthesiology, postoperative rehabilitation, some aspects of pediatrics, as well as master classes.
Following the results of the forum, participants reached an agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Association of Pediatric Surgeons.
