About IRC

Welcome to the Information and Resource Center of the Corporate Fund “University Medical Center”.

Goals

To develop, preserve, and expand the library collection in accordance with the Fund’s profile and readers’ informational needs; to continuously improve the reference and bibliographic system and databases; and to coordinate and cooperate with other libraries, scientific and technical information bodies, and institutions to better meet readers’ needs for literature.

Main Objectives of the IRC

* Provide complete and timely library and bibliographic services in accordance with users’ information requests.

* Develop the department’s collection in accordance with the curricula.

* Ensure the preservation of the library’s collection.

* Foster information literacy and culture among users.

Activities

The main activities of the Information and Resource Center include supporting the Fund, organizing and effectively using accumulated information resources and library collections, ensuring their preservation, improving user services, promoting library and information resources, and developing an electronic resources collection.

The Information and Resource Center includes:

* Reading rooms and electronic reading rooms

Total number of seats in reading rooms: 64

The Information and Resource Center represents a modern library format.
