Analysis results 
On April 11, the Mother and Child Center UMC hosted the opening of the republican center for «Fetal Protection», and within its framework the pilot project «One Day Clinic» was launched for pregnant women.
The aim of the project is to accurately diagnose the state of health during the first trimester of pregnancy in expecting mothers. All procedures are carried out on modern equipment and in the most comfortable conditions. Within one day, a genetic diagnosis is carried out to determine the next steps. Pregnant women who have a high risk of developing fetal malformations can go through the «One-day Clinic». The project will operate within the framework of the MSHI.
The opening was attended by the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova: «The issues of early diagnosis are very important. We need to properly set up the entire route of management of pregnant women so that we do not lose her, so that we provide her with timely advice and screenings. The One-Day Clinic will operate in seven regions of the country. Today it is a significant event that we are opening the republican center for «Fetal Protection». I think this will make a very big contribution to reducing disability among the child population, reducing infant mortality, so I want to thank the UMC leadership for supporting this initiative», the Minister shared.
The first consultations and diagnostics within the framework of this project took place on the opening day. Expectant mothers received recommendations from the clinic’s specialists.
