Analysis results Worldwide studies and patient observation experience have shown that the past COVID-19 causes complications on the cardiovascular, nervous and other systems, giving rise to multiple COVID-induced conditions.
In this regard, jointly the Heart Center, Republican Diagnostic Center of «UMC» Corporate Fund and the National Laboratory Astana initiated a scientific project for the examination and rehabilitation of previous COVID-infected patients.
The aim of the project is also to study the features of the course of this disease and post-COVID syndrome.
In the near future, it has planned to create Check-Up packages in the Heart Center for patients with post-COVID syndrome. Any patient who has expressed a desire to participate in this project will be able to has been examined and consult an endocrinologist, cardiologist, and if necessary, narrow specialists of Republican Diagnostic Center of «UMC» Corporate Fund.
In addition, for patients with certain indications, a day hospital has provided at Republican Diagnostic Center of «UMC» Corporate Fund with the possibility of taking a 10-day rehabilitation course.
It is worth noting that when signing the written consent, the patient’s data and parameters, the results of his tests and blood samples will be used for extensive scientific research. This will allow researchers to study and identify new disease factors and possible treatments.
