Analysis results On November 15, 2024, the IV Annual Conference of nursing specialists in anesthesiology and intensive care was held at the University Medical Center. The event brought together more than 250 nursing specialists and doctors of medical centers from the local and regional health organizations.
In the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, patients receive postoperative medical care. Nursing specialists take an active part in this process by monitoring the condition of patients, providing them with support and care, first aid, and managing the necessary equipment. Along with daily work with patients, nursing specialists continue training, organize conferences and symposiums, open training schools to share experiences with colleagues, and participate in research projects.
The speakers of the conference presented reports on such topics as comprehensive patient care, effective communication, prevention of hospital infections, the use of artificial ventilation devices, the development of Intensive Care Schools and opportunities for further education. Master classes on emergency medical care, the use of artificial ventilation and the care of bedsores, gastrastoma and tracheostomy were also organized, important and exciting topics in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care were raised during debates.
“It is an honor for me to open the fourth conference of nursing specialists in the field of anesthesiology. I would like to start by saying that recently there has been a lot of talk about artificial intelligence replacing human labor, there has been such an alarm that someone will be left without a job. But I think that your area will never remain unclaimed, because the robot does not feel pain, I’m not talking about physical pain, but the pain of a person who is suffering,” said Yuriy Pya, Chairman of the Board of the University Medical Center.
