Analysis results On November 4, 2023, the III Conference of Nursing Specialists in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation “An extraordinary every day” was held at the University Medical Center. The event was organized by the National Research Cardiac Surgery Center and UMC. Around 400 specialists from medical centers of the capital and regional healthcare organizations participated in the conference.
Nursing specialists take an active part in the treatment of patients, providing everyone with comprehensive care and support. Despite the heavy workload on working days, they continue their professional development, participate in scientific projects and research, present the experience of clinics in the international arena, and create platforms for sharing experience and knowledge with colleagues and for improving nursing services.
The speakers of the conference presented 26 reports on such topics as proper care of patients in the intensive care unit, ensuring safety and control in anesthesia, prevention of infectious diseases. Master classes on basic life support, the basics of artificial lung ventilation and the installation of a central venous catheter were also organized for the participants of the event.
“It is not a coincidence that the third nursing conference is being held within the walls of UMC, since the National Research Cardiac Surgery Center has become part of the Academic Medical Center. Here, each employee has the opportunity for further growth and professional development, including teaching. I am sure that the conference will be interesting and useful, first of all, for our patients,” said Yuriy Pya, Chairman of the Board of the University Medical Center.
