Endoscopic service carries out diagnostics and endoscopic treatment of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, large intestine, biliary and hepatic ducts, laryngopharynx, trachea, bronchi, plucked biopsy for subsequent verification of the diagnosis.
In the presence of indications, as well as at the request of the patient, endoscopic procedures are performed under a medication sedation (intravenous anesthesia).
The endoscopic equipment is disinfected, sterilized before each test in accordance with international JCI standards (mechanical, automatic high-level disinfection is performed on the most modern equipment: Jonson & Jonson, Clleanoscope), which guarantees complete safety of infection of patients.
The endoscopy department carries out a wide range of outpatient and inpatient medical and diagnostic services for adults and children aged 0-18.
The center is equipped with modern endoscopic equipment of the firms "KARL STORZ", "OLYMPUS", "PENTAX" - world leaders in the production of endoscopic technique. These are rigid endoscopes, flexible children's fibroendoscopes, and digital video endoscopes of high resolution. Endoscopes have an ultrathin and elastic distal tube, which allows the patient to easily and painlessly transfer the procedure. High resolution endoscopy with a narrow-spectral image function allows to significantly improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of minute changes in the mucous membrane of the organs under investigation. The auxiliary instrumentation allows conducting various endoscopic interventions during the study.
In addition to diagnostic studies, therapeutic interventions are carried out: removal of benign formations of the gastrointestinal tract, bronchopulmonary systems; Sanitation of the bronchial tree; Removal of foreign bodies of the esophagus, stomach, larynx and bronchi.
During endoscopy, if necessary, the material is collected, followed by a cytomorphological and bacteriological study. All endoscopic examinations can be performed under local anesthesia, as well as in a state of short-term medical sleep with the use of modern drugs and without any discomfort for the patient.
